It's hard to believe, but the site has turned 1 year old today, and we're still going strong. Thanks are due to all the fans who have helped us along the way, and to everyone on the forums who are trying to keep this place alive and kickin'!

A Weekend's Phantasy

In March, we got the opportunity to visit the famous Phantasy Nite Club & Theatre in Lakewood, Ohio. Caspar, camera in hand, took lots of really interesting pictures of the place, including pictures of the ever coveted backstage area.

Recently, our resident interviewer, Todd, got a chance to speak to ex-manager & Nothing Records label head, John Malm, Jr. John spoke to us about how he got into the business, going to Lucky Pierre shows, and the role he played in getting the 1st PRICK album released. Various Site Updates

Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop a line and point out that we've made a few updates here & there throughout the site. We got a nice review of Lucky Pierre's "Communique" EP up, some additional Lucky Pierre show dates from 1980 & 1984, and some more Broken Man live info. We also added a couple of Exotic Birds show dates, and we have a Holy Cows interview from 1987/1988 coming up.

If you weren't aware, for some of the shows (unfortunately, not all) you can click on them and find additional info, review, setlists, line-ups and even advertisements & live photos. If you haven't been looking into the "Shows" sections on here, you really should take some time and do so. There's a goldmine of great info just waiting to be absorbed & contributed to.

Old Nothing Records Live Footage Unearthed

It's come to our attention that the "Night Of Nothing" showcase at Irving Plaza in NYC from 1996 has finally surfaced. For those of you unfamiliar with the event, Kevin played Guitar as part of the headlining supergroup, which also featured at times Richard Patrick of Filter, Clint Mansell of Pop Will Eat Itself and other Nothing Records notables.

Related Projects Updates

We've recently added a ton of Hot Tin Roof stuff to the site. We got some great fliers & promo stuff on loan from Jim Clevo (CLE Music Promoter). We also got our hands on some old HTR Interviews from 1992 & 1995, which have both been scanned & transcribed on the site. Also, there are now 45 Second MP3 Audio Clips available for almost every HTR track. These clips can be found in the "Songs" section.

In addition, we also came across some Exotic Birds info (show dates, etc.), which have been scanned and added to the site. We did, also, get a 1989 interview, which has been scanned & transcribed for your viewing pleasure.

luckyPRICK Interview With Chris Schleyer!

Recently, our resident interviewer, Todd, got a chance to exchange e-mails with Chris Schleyer. Chris was the guitar player for Prick in the 90's, and his guitar work has show up recently on Lucky Pierre's 2004 release "ThinKing". Chris has also played with the Kidney Thievez, Zeromancer, and recently he's started his own studio project, Affected.

There are already some great boards on the net that feature prevalent Kevin discussion, and we're not trying to detract from those places at all. We go to them and we love them. However, we are trying to create a "one-stop-shop" for the fan community, so creating our own board was a logical next step. Hope we haven't stepped on anyones toes.

luckyPRICK Interview With Dave Zima!

Our resident interviewer, Todd, got a chance to exchange e-mails with Lucky Pierre's drummer, Dave Zima. Dave was the main man behind the drums during Pierre's CLE Heyday (Late 70's/80's), as well as popping up to play for one off shows (The Peppermen), and other special occasions. He's also been a member, at one time or another, of Hot Tin Roof, Cats On Holiday, Butterfield 8, etc.

Andy Kubiszewski In CLE / New Additions To The Site

We have word that Andy Kubiszewski has recently (last week!) traveled to CLE to lay down some drums for an undisclosed Kevin McMahon project.

Could this be new Prick? New Lucky Pierre? Some project we've never heard of before? Certainly, something is happening in CLE. Let's just hope we get to find out what it is, and sooner than later!

Also, Paul Kompier (The Holy Cows, Broken Man) has hooked us up with some additional Holy Cows photos, as well as some Broken Man live & backstage photos and a Broken Man Setlist! Go check those out in their respective sections.

Lastly, we've been collecting old CLE local newspapers and such for clippings & live show information on all the artists on the site. We've been very lucky and have had a fair amount of success. Check out the "Shows" sections for our artists to find additional shows listed, as well as scans of newspaper advertisements, etc., related to those shows.

New Sections Unleashed / luckyPRICK Interview With Andy Kubiszewski!

After much hard work, we've opened up all of the Related Projects on the website. Not every section is 100% completed, though, as we're still working on a few Bios and things of that nature, but we've got enough there to keep you entertained for a while. Why not participate and help us fill in the blanks? We'd love it if you would.

New Articles & Pictures Added

Huge thanks to Barb for supplying us with some great Lucky Pierre magazine articles from the early 80's! We've transcribed them and added them to the site, as well as the article scans themselves. There was also a short interview with Kevin McMahon from 96 that's been added to the Prick section.

Also, huge thanks to Robert Cherry, who dug into his archives and was able to pull out 4 pictures of Lucky Pierre performing live at the original Pirate's Cove circa 80/81.

In our 1st stage we've only activated the immediate, directly Kevin related projects (i.e. the ones you see on the menu above). We've put as much content for these artists in their sections as we had available. We hope you enjoy it!

Our first featured interview, which is up for your viewing pleasure, is a brief Q&A with Producer, Engineer & Fear Of Blue co-founder Rae DiLeo.
