Question For The Fans/Forum Users
11/06/07 at 13:54:58

Hey Everyone,

We're thinking about "branching out" to include more Classic CLE bands on the site. They would end up in their own subsection separate from what's already established on the site.

This came up recently when thinking about how to incorporate "The Electric Eels" into the site. They don't really fit the criteria for a "Related Project", yet they featured the work of Brian McMahon, and were a pinnacle group.

And then there are other groups that played shows with Lucky Pierre that some of you might like, like The Wild Giraffes, that we'd like to give a home on the web.

What do you all think?  A post in this thread with your thoughts based on your answer in the poll would be appreciated.

I'd base my vote on how much information you could pull together at launch although I doubt anyone, off staff, has any problems tossing those particular bands in "related projects", which as of now is pretty depressing. I'd imagine it makes more sense financially to keep the site smaller.

To be honest, I prefer to keep things Kevin-centric...  but obviously, it doesn't hurt if there's enough interest out there to warrant it!

My 2cents.

Appreciate the feedback, of course.

We've got quite a bit on the Electric Eels, and we may create a sub section involving them that'll be accessible from Brian McMahon's page... haven't quite decided 100% on that yet, but I hate to just eliminate that entire part of his musical career from the site.

As for other bands, very true, our info is limited.

As for financials, we have plenty of disc space/bandwidth to accommodate far more than we have now, and I've got next years costs saved up already, so we're good for a while Wink

If anyone has any suggestions as to what we can do to make the site better (within reason), we'd love to hear them!

I'm voting yes as I think it may give context for what else was happening at the time....

Still thinking about this. Anything's possible in that Related Artists section, so who knows. Are there specific artist people would like to see in there that aren't?

Considering I'm not from Cleveland... this doesn't really interest me. I'm here for the Prick. Wink
