The Hanging Gardens made it Babylon
the Pyramids keep Egypt great
And as I stand in awe of nature, feats of man I can appreciate
But then I wonder of the world, will it never see
the dove with a branch from the olive tree ?

The Mausoleum Halicarnassus
ironically has met it's fate
And the Rhodes Collossus fell before the power of an ancient quake
But I don't wonder of the world, will it cease to try
to live beneath the sea and in the sky ?

We chart the stars and don't fear a flight out to the moon
Why don't we make peace right here?
We only stop ourselves

The Temple Artemision may have been
The Vatican of yesterday
But old or new a church is still just only water, sand, and bits of clay
Sometimes I wonder of the world, will it ever be
wise enough to spin us all in harmony?

We chart the stars and don't fear a flight out to the moon
Why don't we make love right here?

The Hanging Gardens once made Babylon
the Pyramids kept Egypt great
And though I stand in awe of nature, feats of man I do appreciate
Someday I wish the children born unto the earth should find
a world of wonder peace will leave behind
