Made For EachotherWritten by Brian McMahon Performed by Brian McMahon
Sat down to write three minutes on the nat'ral elements and of
their metaphoric parallels to qualities found in our love Much to my surprise I thought only of synthetics Orlon 'n styrene 'n acetate Flipped the page to get a fresh perspective, tried to visualize how earth and water play a part in keeping what we got alive But once again it didn't ring — truth is we work at it with vinyl and rayon Manufactured ourselves for each other / Fabricated our own twists of fate Now we're permanently pressed together/ nothin' nat'ral could make a love this great Sometimes we're out — we meet new friends who see that we're the perfect pair They wanna hear us talk about the cosmic force that got us there We'd only let them down, giving credit to cosmetics, Nylon, acrylics — amalgamates! Manufactured ourselves for each other / Was no Big Bang that made her my mate When this glow fades we'll buy us another/ Nothin' nat'ral could make a love so great Now we know that were made for each other / when the pull of the full moon abates And we're permanently pressed together / Nothin' natural could make love this great Nothin' natural could make love so great |
