Judging from "Warm jets" from Hot Tin Roof's last project, Junk And Desire, vocalist/rhythm guitarist Tom Lash knows how to write musical hooks. Add three more to that list, thanks to the groups latest endeavor. Recorded at Beachwood Studios and mixed by Brian "Chuck" new in London, Fixation has a clean, professional touch to it. The band uses its full sound to its advantage throughout, especially on the title piece, countered by Greg Zydyk;'s guitar work. Those wagering Odd Girl Out breaks out of town first better hedge their bets with some action on Hot Tin Roof, too.
